Horrible Service - hewlett-packard

I had an HP Envy notebook. Suddenly one day I got an error that said "Display Driver stopped working," I rebooted, and got the same error. I called HP support. They said to run a Refresh (resets everything except documents and music). Apparently the Refresh resets all the Windows updates, because when the Refresh finished I checked and the system wanted to install over 100 updates. The updates failed, so I called HP again. They had me run a Systems Recovery (resets PC to factory shipped condition), Again, the Windows updates failed. I called HP Support once again. This time they had me run a Systems Recovery from the USB Flash Drive I had purchased from HP. Once again, the Windows updates failed. Finally, after several more phone calls I shipped the PC back to HP for repair (the machine was under warranty). I even put a note in the shipment explaining what had happened. When it came back from repair, I noticed that the system wanted to install over 100 Windows updates. Assuming that after HP fixed the problem they ran a Systems Recovery again. I tried to install the updates again. The updates failed to install. This time instead of calling HP Support, I tried to email the HP CEO, but during that process, I got an error saying "Display Driver stopped working." Apparently they hadn't done anything except run a Systems Recovery, which I know worked because I had already run three of them. So, I called HP Support again, and they told me to run a Systems Recovery!

Written on my new Non-HP PC.
